Whether you are a nonprofit looking for potential funding organizations or a founder looking to break new ground, the Starter Webinars will guide you along the way and also provide you with targeted contacts to other peers with whom you can exchange ideas in greater depth.
The structure of the webinars
The three starter webinars are structured consecutively, which means that they can only be run through in the specified order. After successful participation in the third webinar, participants will receive a certificate.
Starter webinar 1/3: Convince at the first go
We start with a tour of the platform, focusing on the profile, your digital business card. How does a nonprofit present clearly and to the point today, creating the foundation for a trusting relationship that is essential to fundraising? How does a funder design its profile in a transparent and impact-oriented way so that not more but more precise requests arrive? The webinar will be supplemented by a few simple and central do’s and don’ts of digital philanthropy, which will make the start on stiftungschweiz.ch even more fun.
Starter webinar 2/3: Finding instead of searching
The second starter webinar will turn you into a research professional. Because “he who seeks, finds” applies all the more to those who know how to use the research function on stiftungschweiz.ch. We will show you how to save search results in lists, how to comment and sort them, and how to share them with your colleagues. In this webinar, our “10 golden rules” will also provide you with practical, crucial know-how on how to find the right funding organization as a nonprofit and the most exciting nonprofit as a funder.
Starter webinar 3/3: the network to success
The third and final starter webinar will make you a pro. Because it’s about the supreme discipline of digital philanthropy, networks. We show you in which networks it is worthwhile for you to get involved and how you can use the networks specifically to network in your focus area. Using practical examples, we will show you which strategy is most promising for you and which tactics and resources will enable you to reach your goal pragmatically. The third starter webinar is rounded off by a brief preview of the platform’s pro features, for example the smart lists, thanks to whose algorithmic magic you can identify potential future partners and supporters even more easily and quickly.
