The new media service from StiftungSchweiz gives you a quick and targeted overview. The service combines eight high-quality media reviews of the international quality press with the latest AI technology. We bet you’ve never experienced media monitoring in such a personalized and targeted way.
Today, we are literally inundated with information, making it challenging to quickly navigate complex issues. With the new StiftungSchweiz Media Service, we want to help our users keep track of everything at all times. The service provides focused thematic media monitoring in a completely new form: Summarized from the individual perspective of your organization. It has never been easier to get a quick and targeted overview. And in the language of your choice.
Thinking Outside the Box
Media monitoring enables organizations to better understand public opinion and the portrayal of the issues and concerns they are pursuing in the media. This is crucial in order to respond proactively to potential crises and precisely align their own performance in the context of public perception.
“Today, we are literally flooded with information – it is challenging to quickly find your way around complex issues. With the new StiftungSchweiz media service, you can stay on top of things.”
Media monitoring is particularly important for charitable foundations and associations, as they often operate at the cutting edge and deal with particularly sensitive issues where a rapid response is crucial. However, because media monitoring involves considerable effort on the one hand and considerable costs on the other, it often falls by the wayside. Yet its value is essential for good strategic alignment of programs and better positioning of the organization, and ultimately for more effective marketing.
How our Media Service Works
With the StiftungSchweiz media service, we are providing a remedy. Precisely filtered and individually summarized at an unbeatable price – this is what we want to achieve with our new media service.
Eight hand-picked and daily compiled media reviews (see box below) form the qualitative basis of our service: whether “Neue Zürcher Zeitung”, “Frankfurter Allgemeine” or “New York Times” – the basis of our service comprises over 4000 Swiss titles in print, online, radio and television, the most important sources from the areas of daily newspapers, trade journals and specialist publications. This base is supplemented by selected important international references, such as the New York Times or the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”.
In a second step, individual filters ensure a precise focus on topics and reduce the number of hits that are relevant to you. Using cleverly applied artificial intelligence (AI), each hit is then summarized to the point from your individual perspective. These summaries are delivered in a network on StiftungSchweiz, so that all hits are archived in a bundle, but can also be tagged, weighted or commented on as required.
Start Pilot Phase: Test Now
The new media service will start in mid-September 2024. Access to the original texts (PDFs) requires at least Pro level access; Partner level is required for access to the original texts (PDFs). The price per individual media service is expected to be CHF 590 per year and will be finalized once the pilot has been completed.
We are allowing selected users to test the new service now until mid-September and provide their feedback on the final design of the product. In such a pilot setting, we would like to receive ongoing feedback on the quality and preparation of the hits, but also in particular on any missing articles that our pilot partners have learned about by other means.
